Black Hole
The maps look exactly the same as the original, the difference only being that none of the stations correspond.
With our own internalised maps of the city, all too frequently we rely on the transportation networks of the city to orientate ourselves and give sense of our lived environment. However, when the London terror attacks took place and the underground system was closed, tragic comedy ensued as Londoners emerged from the tube stations not knowing how to get home. Despite the sociological undertones of this intervention, the performative comedy is forefront.
